EL ABSURDO DE LOS FOTOPROTECTORES CON SPF MUY BAJO

A estas alturas, todos tenemos ya claro lo importante que es proteger nuestra piel de los rayos solares, para evitar efectos nocivos, como manchas, arrugas e, incluso lesiones cancerosas. Entonces, yo me pregunto: ¿Qué sentido tiene que los laboratorios saquen al mercado fotoprotectores con un SPF muy bajo, y por muy bajo me refiero a índices por debajo de 8.

Las estanterías de algunas farmacias, perfumerías y centros comerciales están repletas de productos para protegerse del sol con índices 6, 8, 2...  Realmente absurdo, ya que proporcionan al consumidor una sensación de falsa seguridad, cuando en realidad, la protección que ofrecen es ínfima. Ya os comenté en una ocasión que el SPF está relacionado con el tiempo que podemos exponernos a las radiaciones solares, antes de quemarnos o acabar con eritema. Pues bien, con una protección inferior a 8, prácticamente tendríamos que estar reaplicándonos el producto a la media hora lo cual, no nos engañemos, no lo hace nadie.

No creo que exista un sólo dermatólogo en el planeta capaz de recomendar estos fotoprotectores, con lo cual, todo ello me lleva a una conclusión: ¿ Y por qué no retirarlos del mercado?
