Precision instrumental rockers from Singapore: Sphaeras
HaoKai Lek-gtr, Chun Kit Wun-gtr, Zakhran Khan-drums, Harris Sim-bass (I think both Zakhran & Harris are also in a band called Two Seas)
This set was recorded in mid-December when the band went to Chicago to play a few dates, and just up-loaded to YT. This full clip has charming interview segments between songs. =D
You can see the session as 4 individual songs at AudiotreeTV YouTube channel, and there is also an Audiotree Vimeo channel with the full-set videos, in case YT is blocked where you are. A mathrock-prog-metal summit on the joint release Sun Seeker by Brazil’s Odradek and Sphaeras from Singapore. My Wish Is Your Command is a “Collaborations track featuring Fabiano & Caio of Odradek, Axel of Sphaeras and Weish of .Gif / Sub:Shaman.”
The entire album is quite insane, a must-listen for fans of math rock! If I’m reading the credits correctly, Odradek have 3 songs (3 with vocals, one of which is in Engish), Sphaeras have 2 songs plus a collaboration with the Singapore band Two Seas. The title track and My Wish Is Your Command feature Fabiano & Caio of Odradek and (bassist) Axel of Sphaeras.
Weish is absolutely perfect for this crazy, haunting material. “one of the most insane collaborations i've ever done... recording vocals on a track that (literally) summoned the supernatural. still makes my hair stand listening to it...”
The album comes out Monday, listen/purchase at bandcamp.
That's a wrap on baybeats 2016! It's so cute how they're all so embarrassed about the hiccups on stage but it's okay. At least they had fun and so did everyone watching- I would assume. It's been fun my loves! No more jamming sesh in a while🙁

Yay baybeats! Means I get to have an “excuse” to hang with them till 26th June. Haha. We’re such busy ppl with busy lives. Haven’t seen most of them since… March?? Feb?? I miss this buffoons.. Also am on my way home alone now bcos its late and I gotta get up early tmr.. I had to tear myself away from the studio. At least I got my dose of hugs😋
