God i just went on a googling spree just to figure out if it should be "meine" instead of "mein" bc the word "Nachtigall" is feminine but the person speaking is referring to someone masculine

the answer is yes..? but like if the gender does not matter for the context. if anyone else knows if it should be "mein" instead, please say bc idk if that's right but aughhhh

literally got a confidence boost looking at my ao3 statistics

since private bookmarks don't show up on the bookmarks counter of a work (btw using that feature is valid), the statistics tab on ao3 shows me the real amount of bookmarks a work has and omg so many people have ㅜuㅜ even if the number disparity is high, the fact of the matter is people love them enough to make a bookmark and like looking at the numbers there's so many I'm so happy

I tend to use bookmarks as a benchmark for how well a fic does (no shade to kudoses tho, those rule too so thank you for those ♡) but ahhhhhhhhhh; even the ones I thought weren't popular had more than I thought thank you all
