One of Alastor's more admirable traits: Letting people be wrong about him or what he thinks. Especially if they insist on being wrong. I envy him for this talent. No explanations, no corrections that lead nowhere anyway. He does want to be seen a certain way, sure, but he never falls for the urge to clean up any opinions people hold about him.

My name is Sphinx, I love to write and collect stories, and to share/talk about ideas. Nice to meet you!

I post my own art (tag: my art) - since sometimes the urge hits me (please remember I'm a writer, not an artist though);

Since things in fandom get a little heated about differing opinions sometimes, I want you to know what you're in for with me before following with some of the topics that make people argue. I'll put it under a cut:

I passionately oppose censorship, and I'm what the kids call proship.

As a sex-neutral/positive ace person, my interpretation of Alastor is "ace but might fuck when things are very right (or, alternatively, twisted enough for his taste)". I don't mind other opinions on that, I just mind authors and artists and Alastor fans in general being attacked over personal interpretations of him.

In my opinion, Vox and Alastor are mutually obsessed with each other, each in their own flavor, and that's what makes their mess so beautiful.

I wondered what might be the most fascinating ways to die and I think my top 6 are: [under the cut to not disturb anyone with my weird thoughts]

Falling asleep somewhere very, very cold.

Falling from something high enough to really have the time to feel the way down.

Being choked (hands or rope).

Being bitten by a bunch of venomous snakes over and over.

Getting electrocuted.

Having my throat cut.

getting likes on a post that is almost ten years old is such a whiplash - I found my old (old!) main blog and I am tempted to nuke it but seeing how much I've grown as an artist is pretty neat. Crazy that I started posting here in my early 20s and now I'm in my 30s.
