My name is Sphinx, I love to write and collect stories, and to share/talk about ideas. Nice to meet you!

Since things in fandom get a little heated about differing opinions sometimes, I want you to know what you're in for with me before following with some of the topics that make people argue. I'll put it under a cut:

I passionately oppose censorship, and I'm what the kids call proship.

As a sex-neutral/positive ace person, my interpretation of Alastor is "ace but might fuck when things are very right (or, alternatively, twisted enough for his taste)". I don't mind other opinions on that, I just mind authors and artists and Alastor fans in general being attacked over personal interpretations of him.

In my opinion, Vox and Alastor are mutually obsessed with each other, each in their own flavor, and that's what makes their mess so beautiful.

Anyone else feel like "Vaggi's first ask to Lucifer was to have him kill Vox" should be more examined by the Fandom?

Cause I so just imagine a fanfic or something of her explaining that and someone jokingly going "Typical EXORCIST move. Kill the unruly sinner" and this just causing Vaggi the BIGGEST crashout.

I know this is a slight tangent but I genuinely feel Vox’s criticisms of Charlie, Lucifer and Vaggi were not merely him giving them shit to paint him as a bully, but were also meant to be seeds for the audience’s genuine reflection on how the non-sinner characters are interacting with the sinners.

Because Vox DID comment on Vaggi, albeit not the Lucifer thing, but when she comes with Charlie to the event, he basically says “Inviting angels to the cookout? Yikes!!!”. Of course, it’s not Vaggi calling on him, but Vox also does say “smite me! That’s all you angels know how to do!” To Lucifer… it’s a thing! Unfortunately, Vox is not the best messenger, but it’s definitely a thing!

When Vaggi comes out as an angel and is debriefing the hotel, the sinners show disdain for both angels as a whole and the way sinners continuously get the stick from all this non-human activity happening above their heads, her and Charlie included.

And I’ve felt this way since season 1 but like… surely we are overdue a discussion about how while Lucifer hid away entirely, Charlie’s internal bias against sinners was so strong that of all the billions of people, she ends gravitating towards the ONE angel in Hell other than her dad 😭. And she doesn’t know about Cannibal Town and is just generally very naive about sinners idk. Like what’s going onnnnn.

Like when Velvette questions the Morningstars thinking sinners need to fundamentally not be themselves and Charlie even flat out saying her dad hates sinners… whew!! As Alastor said “WHO’S JOKING?” We (the characters) neeeeeed to talk about this.

And just tying it back to Vaggi, who is also clearly not that fond of sinners either… Yeah she did say Lucifer should just abuse his angelic power. These three are stewing in privilege and prejudice and we gloss over it. But I feel like with Lilith’s introduction, we could have an opportunity to address it, since she seemed to have some militant ideas about Heaven, and also was not happy with Adam in Eden in the first place. She was always a true rebel and she’s human.
