“ seti! it’s been so long! ” running up to the other, lavi throws his arms around him, laughing. he lets go immediately, not wanting to make seti uncomfortable. “ you cut your hair! i like it! ”

“ happy birthday, seti! ” he holds out a plate of strawberries and an silk yellow ribbon. “ i know it’s not much, but... i thought you might enjoy it! ”
he fidgets with the cuffs of his new uniform as he makes his way down the hall, frame and mind still unused to the change in attire. what used to be red is now gold, the change small yet so enormous to the blond, weighing him down with every step and decision he makes.
as he makes his way into the common area, nerves are eased ever so slightly by the sight of his friends. managing a weary smile, cecil opens his arms and turns around, showing the other exorcist his new apparel.

“ hey, seti, have you ever played soccer? ” there’s a soft chuckle as he kicks the ball up and catches it before tucking it under his arm. “ or football. whatever ya wanna call it. ”

“ i’ve heard that you play violin. is that true, monsieur seti? ” smiling softly, doug turns to face the other. “ if it is true, i play the piano. perhaps we can do a duet sometime and prepare something for that... special person. ” snickering, the finder gives a small shake of his head. “ that is only if you want to. ”
