There is a spicy twist to this traditional sushi roll because it has fresh tuna mixed with creamy mayonnaise and hot Sriracha sauce.
Ingredients: 2 cups sushi rice. 4 nori seaweed sheets. 8 ounces sushi-grade tuna, diced. 2 tablespoons mayonnaise. 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce. 1 avocado, thinly sliced. 1 cucumber, julienned. Soy sauce, for serving. Pickled ginger, for serving. Wasabi, for serving.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the sushi rice, then let it cool. Chop up tuna and put it in a bowl. Add Sriracha sauce and mayonnaise. On a bamboo sushi mat, put a sheet of nori. Put a little sushi rice on top of the nori sheet. Put slices of avocado, cucumber, and the spicy tuna mixture on top of the rice. Use the bamboo mat to roll the sushi up tightly. With a sharp knife, cut the roll into small pieces that are easy to eat. Soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi should be served with it.
