Ingredients: 4 cups sushi rice. 1/2 cup rice vinegar. 1/4 cup sugar. 1 tablespoon salt. Nori seaweed sheets. Assorted sushi fillings e.g., cucumber, avocado, smoked salmon, crab sticks, tuna. Soy sauce, for dipping. Pickled ginger, for serving. Wasabi, for serving.
Instructions: Cook sushi rice according to package instructions. In a small saucepan, heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Fold the vinegar mixture into the cooked rice. Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat, spread a thin layer of rice over it. Arrange sushi fillings on top of the rice. Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat. Slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve sushi with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
