The ginger, garlic, and red curry paste in these turkey burgers give them a Thai flavor. In every bite, the crunchy and tangy broccoli slaw that comes with them makes it even better.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground turkey. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tbsp ginger, minced. 2 tbsp soy sauce. 1 tbsp fish sauce. 1 tsp red curry paste. 1/2 tsp brown sugar. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tbsp lime juice. 2 cups broccoli slaw mix. 4 hamburger buns. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooking oil for grilling.
Instructions: Ground turkey, breadcrumbs, cilantro, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, fish sauce, red curry paste, and brown sugar should all be mixed together in a large bowl. Mix everything together well. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Add salt and pepper to each patty. Warm up a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and add a little cooking oil to it. As long as the turkey patties are cooked all the way through and have nice grill marks, they are done. In a separate bowl, mix broccoli slaw mix, mayonnaise, and lime juice. Do this while the burgers start to cook. Add pepper and salt to taste. Put the hamburger buns on the grill and toast them for one to two minutes, until they get a little brown. To make the burgers, put a turkey patty on the bottom half of each bun and then a lot of broccoli slaw on top of that. Put the top bun on top. Enjoy the Thai turkey burgers with extra slaw on the side.
