It’s weird, but in the multiverse of Peter Parkers that I have read or watched, almost every single one of them comes off as having a different orientation to me. Now these are just my personal headcanons, I’m not saying any other interpretation is wrong, but each of the spidey’s come across so clearly to me it’s kind of incredible.
I adore Spectacular Spider-man, but he is definitely the most Cis-het boy on this list. Meanwhile Ultimate Comics Peter Parker is probably more into girls but still is prone to a guy crush every now and then. Jessica Drew, being his clone, is the same but also on the genderqueer spectrum (though that’s canonical).
Tobey McGuire’s Peter honestly came across as Demi to me, Garfield’s Peter Bi, and Holland’s Peter is a pansexual transboy.
616-verse Peter has way too many deeply intense relationships with both men and women to be anything but bi and maybe even polyam to me, and tbh Peni Parker of sp//dr came across to me as uninterested in dudes with what little we got of her, so for me she’s either ace or a lesbian (also i really wish we could get more of her cause she was awesome but at least this way I can keep my ace or queer girl image of her).
Now I feel like I should go watch the rest of the cartoons and read or reread all the rest of the continuities just so I can classify them on my weird Parker LGBT* spectrum scale. Why do I do this.
I don’t know why I’m even writing this down. LOOK SOMETIMES I JUST HAVE REALLY WEIRD FANDOM THOUGHTS AND HAVE TO WRITE THEM OUT AND POST THEM TO GET THEM OFF MY CHEST.
