𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐎𝐍, more than any of them might expect. while peter is older, wiser, has more experience with dealing with what life can throw at you he also recognized that this version of him might not⸺after all, he struggled with the same sentiment more than once && he knew how it felt ! peter wants to help him, wants to comfort him, wants to give him wiser words that’ll 𝙷𝙾𝙿𝙴𝙵𝚄𝙻𝙻𝚈 help in the present struggle. taking a few steps forward, eyes having just scanned the area for any sign of incoming enemies they’d been impatiently waiting for, with mask clutched in his palm peter extends a hand to rest on the others shoulder. ; a reassuring squeeze is given, a light pat before it rests there. a breath is taken into lungs, eyes raising to meet the others gaze: ❝ peter, you gotta listen to me. really listen. ❞ brow draw together, ❝ you 𝓪𝓻𝓮 good enough. you can’t tell yourself you aren’t no matter what anyone else has to say. being spider-man is . . . it’s not easy, it won’t ever be. ❞ having to juggle life, relationships, && a responsibility never gets any easy, but with time you find some kind of balance. ❝ but you’re doing it. you’re being spider-man && that’s as amazing && worthy as anything else. you’re being a hero for people, you save their lives && give people someone to look up too. ❞ peter smiles then.
