days on the meteor ... well , they FLEW BY - ( pun intended ) . she often found herself attempting to socialize - only to be scared away by something in the vents. scurrying back to the room she had claimed as her own. tables - blankets held onto them by books and anything else she could find. a place to HIDE - small and cramped much like her cave once was. it had become her new HABIT - rather than drawing , she would hide. listen for sounds that would never come but she’s sure one day they would.
like today , she twitches at the sound of the door opening . pushing herself closer to the wall hidden among blankets. it wasn’t HIM - she could tell - or maybe that was hopeful fear .

she hadn’t seen vriska in . . . well , a few years now she thinks . time wasn’t something she kept track of anymore . so seeing her had caused her to do a double take, stopping in the middle of her walk to spin against her heels - head tilting as she looked her over. she’s not really sure what to say - how to speak as she had been doing her best to IGNORE EVERYONE - save for crabcatch and nepeta but that was only because they lived near each other - besides them she stayed hidden. closing herself off much like she did back home , survival instincts she supposed.
