(Dear Dairy Diary (Tavros/Vriska) (NC-17) (Transformation)
A tale containing the slow changes of the primary bullboy. Oodles of diary entries, a fun little perspective, and a story that gives me a little pride! Enjoy, and I hope it's everything you could hope for and mooore. (Cow puns! Before the break even!)
This is the diary of Tavros Nitram. If found, please return to me, Tavros Nitram, immediately. Do not deliver to Vriska because she’ll be very mean about it.
Tavros X Vriska High school AU in which Vriska is teasing Tavros.
“Hey Tavros, like my new shirt?” Vriska purred, leaning in close enough to smell his aftershave and the gel he had used to slick his thick hair back, cornering him against the set of lockers. He stared for only a half second at her exposed cleavage before turning bright red and quickly averting his gaze, biting his lower lip. “You looked!” She beamed, laughing, glad he wasn’t ignoring her like Gamzee had told him too, “You looked and blushed. I saw you!”.
send me a ship + an au and i'll write a three sentence fic of it
a spin the bottle kiss ; tavris
Feferi's leg brushed by his, the tips of her fingers gently tracing circles on his knee. Tavros flinched, smelling a faint whisper of alcohol on her breath. Why had he even agreed to come to this party? He could see two people making out on the couch already, not even interested in the game of Spin the Bottle. They didn't have to, they already had someone to drunkenly slurr sweet nothings to.
((ahhh thank you for the prompt nonnie!! it got me inspired to start writing today. i left what tavros was upset about up to the reader. uvu))
Tavros sighed, balling his fist and swallowing his anger, stomping away. He was tired of being belittled, sick of being picked on even by someone he loved. Vriska laughter cut off almost immediately as she raced after him.
"Aw come on Tavros, you know that was just a joke, right?" She urged, her laughter incredulous as she laid a hand on his shoulder. He quickly shrugged it off, shaking his head and hugging himself. His body was shaking but not from fear this time. He wasn't afraid of Vriska Serket anymore. She wasn't the same monster under his bed she had been only sweeps ago. When they'd first died and hung out in the dream bubbles she'd seemed so raw and empty and small. Just like him.
"You know, for a girlfriend, you sure do say a lot of really hurtful things..." Tavros muttered into his knees as he sunk to the ground, his back against the wall. He was curled into a ball, but all Vriska could see was another Magic 8-Ball she'd smashed and destroyed.
She sat down beside him, trying to find the right words to say, to fix this mess she'd created. God, what was it about this guy that made her act so dumb? Whenever she was around him he'd make her mind go blank and her mouth feel like cotton. All the wrong things would come out and she'd end up hurting him, again. Why did she always treat people the way she deserved to be treated herself?
Vriska's eyes began to sting but she ignored them, knowing it wasn't real. All of this; this dream bubble, this pain, the stinging, none of it was real. The only thing that mattered was Tavros, and getting him to forgive her, yet again. It was true, she knew she'd done some horrible things to him, things that made her hate herself and wish Spidermom had just eaten her as a grub. But he'd seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of Vriska Serket. A side to her she'd never shown anybody before because she was too much of a coward. And somehow he'd found it in him to love her and her broken smile and her milky white irises.
She knew she couldn't lose him.
Hesitantly, she wrapped an arm around him, feeling him tense underneath of her. She couldn't tell him all the reasons why she loved him with words, but she knew she could show him. Lowering her head, she pressed her lips to his ear and softly whispered, "I'm... sorry Tavros. Not just for this, for everything I put you through. And... and thank you."
Slowly, like a butterfly hatching from it's cocoon, he raised his head and showed her his tears and then out of no where, like the sweet chorus of a bird, he laughed. It was a bubbly kind of thing that was more of a giggle but came from the stomach. There was no way for Tavros to fake a laugh, each time it was genuine and perfect and sounded like music to her ears. She lost herself in that moment and found she was laughing along with him, pulling him in for a kiss. Then another. And another.
Maybe Tavros could be the first 8-Ball she was able to put back together.
Always too l8.
