this thought is going to sound wild and insane and is a stretch and reeks of oh my god what the fuck did the church do to you but if you think about it kafka in some form is religion to blade because the, way his mind enters clarity and peace of mind when she’s around and also when she speaks to him, he obeys and — in return he’s like her prophet, angel of death, deliverer whatever it is as she carries her word wether as a warning or as a brutal act of carnage and to the average person he’s like an eyesore if you think about it with the marastruck and how he’s a stellaron hunter he’s feared but also a wonder to behold as biblically accurate angels are and !!!

also the fact that blade sees no more purpose in his life yet he serves (kafka specifically) elio to a fault.

and i think the sweetest part is how he allows for her to guide him regardless of the consequence and he doesn’t protest and — in a sense he could rip kafka limb to limb and shatter the image of her holiness but he chooses to be the lamb of her slaughter. blade could and he would, HE WOULD — dig into his body and rip his heart out for her, on his hands — a calloused plate beholding fragile and pliable flesh for the tragedy of a jackdaw to pick apart and feed. for he would let her consume him softness, down to the marrow on all of him in some pathetic desperateness to feed their mutual hunger .

for if kafka is fed, blade is just as full.
