I was so unaware of the hate towards the Ultimate spiderman series tbh.
That version of spiderman was literally my childhood and the reason why i started liking superheroes in the first place.
Its humour is usually targeted as being bad, but I grew up watching it in a different language and they pulled it off greatly. Its fourth wall breaks were the best part about it, and the fact that spiderman acted like a teenager was perhaps the reason i resonated to the series so much.
I loved the avengers cameos. Esp the hulk ones.
Along with the deadpool series.
It's sinister six, carnage and the collector arcs are so great and according to me, done so well.
But my heart really goes out to that peter because he refrained from telling his identity becuz he didn't want to hurt his family and friends yet most of the times they ended up being the villians he had to fight.
He wasn't even appreciated well enough at all and was constantly targeted by daily bugle.
Yet he chose to stay. He chose to keep being a hero, a savior, although he wouldn't ever put himself on that pedestal seriously and instead would say that it's his duty.
He's so great because despite of the tragedies he faced, he chose to keep going on the right path.
My heart really goes out to all the peter parkers.
(I don't know enough about others like miles)
