DENİZLİ (İHA) –
Spidey Sense: The Ultimate Headache Version, An Ultimate Spiderman FanFiction
Peter Parker, a young, nerdy teenage boy with overgrown brown hair and narrow brown eyes clutched his red, blue, white, and black mask clad head in his hands and groand. Spiderman had many powers and abilities, one of the most useful of his powers being his spider sense, But it could also be the most annoying. For some reason, a reason Peter couldn’t understand, his spider sense had been going off like crazy all day not only making him paranoid for the first part of the they when he had no idea what was going on (he still didn’t) but giving him a killer headache as well.
Training definitely didn’t help, spending time with killer S.H.I.E.L.D robots well his brain was already in hyperdrive couldn’t exactly be considered a good idea. Every time the training robots got closer than five feet his spidey sense went insane and just made him a more viable target. Spiderman had to be hit a total of eighteen times before the rest of the team started thinking something was wrong with the meta human. But to be fair he’d gotten hit a lot more in practice when he was just having an off day, of course it had never been such a direct hit as the ones the machines were making now.
“Okay, seriously dude what’s going on?” Sam otherwise known as Nova asked as the eighteen turned into twenty. Peter shrugged, he didn’t feel like advertising his moments of weakness as much as the other guy, even if they were his team. “Everythi- everything's fine, it’s all…..going great” Peter said and Luke also known as Powerman crossed his arms in front of his chest and frowned, unconvinced and Ava or White Tiger followed suit, even though she didn’t have any superpowers she could tell when someone was lying, especially when their lying was as bad as Peter’s.
Peter looked around the room nervously and just as Danny or Iron Fist opened his mouth to say something a sudden wave of vertigo hit Spiderman like a tsunami wave, making him stumble into the cold, metal wall. Peter inhaled sharply, his spider sense was going insane, worse than it ever had before and it clouded all of his other senses. He was vaguely aware of his friends asking him questions and rushing to his side, all he was aware of was the nerve racking pain in his head. Something bad was going to happen, something very bad it was either that or his superpowers were just freaking out for no reason, even though he’d never admit it it was most likely the latter.
Luke somewhat gently grabbed Peter’s arm and guided him to one of the small metal chairs they kept in the Training Room for when they’re on a break. Sam pulled Peter’s mask off, revealing Peter’s pale, sweat covered face and the dark bags under his chocolate brown eyes. The team was shocked by the young male's appearance, they knew that Peter had been having some troubles sleeping but they didn’t think it was this bad. Peter put his hands on his temples and squeezed his eyes shut tight, trying to block out the pain that always came with intense spidey sense.
“Peter what is wrong?” Danny asked, concern apparent in his voice. Peter just groand in response, he could be very stubborn. “Seriously Pete, what’s going on with you?” Ava asked “and don’t tell us it’s nothing” Sam added quickly. “It-” Peter started but cut himself off with another groan. “My spidey sense” he explained pausing for a pained breath “it’s going crazy.” Ava tensed “wait, doesn’t that mean something bad’s going to happen?” she asked her worry filled voice tinged with fear. Peter shook his head “my spider sense has been going off all day, I don’t know why but it’s been a lot more active lately.” Luke, Ava, Danny, and Sam all shared a surprised look, they didn’t know his spidey sense had been bothering him, but a much more important question rang in their minds, why hadn’t he told them? He was the one who was always saying how they were like family after all.
Luke felt Peter tense under the calloused hand he’d put on the web-head’s shoulder as Peter made a sound somewhere in between a scream and a groan. “We should get him to the infirmary.” Danny suggested in his usual calm monotone, but his worry and panic shawn in his pale blue eyes. Luke nodded and helped (more like forced) the maskless Spiderman into a standing position.
The moment he was standing was the moment the vertigo returned, which was weird because one of his superpowers was immunity to vertigo. Peter’s breath hitched as he stumbled backwards, only to be caught by Sam. “It’s okay buddy, I got ‘ya.” Sam muttered into Peter’s ear as he pulled Peter’s arm over his shoulders and supported the shaking boy, a rare showing of brotherly love between the two boys.
Nova ended up supporting Spiderman the entire way to the infirmary and by the time they got Peter their the teenager was next to constantly making some sort of noise or tensing up due to the intense pain. Doctor Connors who was in the room at the time cast Peter a worried glance as he strolled over to his worried teammates. “What happened?” He asked, putting his clipboard down on the small bedside table that was next to the bed Peter was sitting on. “Training incident?” He guessed and the team (minus the human spider) shrugged.
“We don’t really know yet” Sam said simply “he said something about his spidey sense going off like crazy but that’s it.” Luke sighed “we’ll try to get more out of Spidey” he said, letting out a deep breath. “Can you send over someone to check him out?” Doctor Connors nodded and picked up his clipboard before exiting to room to go find a nurse or a medical doctor. He quickly returned and the team (to their dismay) was shooed out of the room by the elderly woman who worked as doctor on the SHIELD carrier.
“I didn’t know his spidey sense could bother him so much” Ava said, breaking the heavy silence that filled the small, chair filled waiting room the team had been shooed into. Danny sighed “what do we know about his powers?” He said in a voice tinged with sadness “we know that they were caused by a spider experimented on by oz corp. So who’s to say that there aren’t any side-effects with all the chemicals that are in his body?”
although they didn’t want to admit it Danny was right, the spider that had given Peter his special abilities had been experimented on and probably filled with chemicals, which also probably meant that along with getting his super powers Peter might have also gotten some pretty nasty side effects. “We don’t know what’s going on, for all we know it could just be a pretty bad headache. Right?” Sam said uncertainly. He didn’t want to believe that his best friend (although he’d never admit it) could- that something bad could happen because of Peter’s powers. “Stop talking like this guys!” Luke snapped “we can’t keep thinking about the worse, maybe he just was nervous about something and that triggered his spidey sense.”
They realized that Luke was probably right, Peter had mentioned before that sometimes negative emotions could trigger his spidey sense before, like adrenaline before a big fall. But what would make him this nervous? Or even worse, scared? “yah, sure, but what in the world could make Pete this flipped out?” Sam asked, voicing all their thoughts. “Maybe it was Flash” Ava suggested, gaining a lot of odd looks from the rest of the team. “What?” She asked defensively “you all know how Flash treats him and how he refuses to do anything about for the sake of his ‘secret identity’.”
She was right and they all knew it, Flash had always been picking on Peter and he never did anything about it because of his double life. Just the thought that Flash just might have started getting on Peter’s nerves like that made Luke tense and clench his fists. If it was Flash then Flash must have done something pretty bad to Peter and they all knew it, even Danny, who always preferred peace over violence felt like punching the guy in the face if Flash had done something so bad to their loyal friend. “I thinks it’s time we paid a little visit to Flash” Luke suggest calmly and no one argued. Even if Flash wasn’t the cause of Peter’s spidey sense surge, he still picked on Peter a lot and they were going to do something about it Because even if the team fought, even if they didn’t always get along they were family, and you don’t mess with their family.
Introvert,
Introvert,
Does whatever an introvert does.
Can they go
outside their house?
No they can't
'Cause they're socially awkward and uncomfortable in social situations or in places with too many people.
...Look oooooout
they are an introvert.
Ignore
This is just a little annoying drabble that has been playing around in my head for a while. I keep messing with Shadowfrost, sometimes putting her with Cap. but sometimes I put her as Steve and Tony's adopted daughter and she falls for Spider-man.
Here is a little random drabble for that.
