As an Introvert, I’m Not Ready to Go Back to ‘Normal’ Life

The pandemic has slowed down our daily rat race, and I’ve decided I want off the hamster wheel.

Once social distancing becomes a thing of the past, I'll miss the safe bubble of my home.

Something about Lan Wangji’s characterization:

I just think it’s so funny and endearing that no matter what the au or interpretation is in a mdzs fic, Lan Wangji is always such an introvert with almost no friends before wwx comes along. Like his only friend is his big brother and that, as an introvert, is a very touching thing to see in a character that I admire so much. Or just to see that sort of character represented so well is such a nice feeling regardless if you like lwj as much as I do. I see “anti social” people interpreted as very violent, obnoxious, or chaotic characters and lwj being disciplined and multifaceted and being shown as introverted is a beautiful thing to me. Like we, as a fandom, have just decided that lwj is always an introvert. It’s something that we acknowledge and that we put a deeper meaning into. It’s not just “that’s how he was raised” sort of characterization. For example, lxc received the same upbringing and he’s far from being considered introverted. We’ve analyzed that it’s a part of how he learned to cope with the loss of his mother as a child and it’s very individual to him(in citing that as an example I don’t mean that all introverts are The Way They Are bc of childhood trauma). That’s just who lwj is. We accept that about him and we love him even more for that.
