Refusal was IMMINENT. Jim's shady behaviour awakening uncertainty. Teeth grit, weighing up options. Allowing him to leave now could prove detrimental. Potentially causing further problems he had no urge to face but shattering his trust… ( Wait, what the fuck? Had he really - ) pupils dilated, unexpected confessions seeping from reluctant lips. Moriarty had just sealed his own fate. He was forcing a lame improvised goodbye? He had no intention of returning. A mix of intolerable emotions churned his gut; the blood he’d consumed, heavy within.

‘You shouldn’t have said that to me - you just confirmed my worst suspicions. This is the shit you’ve been talking about in your sleep then? The fall - you’re about to do something suicidal?’

One brief glimpse of open MIND was it all took - well - that and a suitable sedative. Syringe pierced Moriarty’s throat, mercilessly sinking into his flesh. ( A knee-jerk reaction and by the time he’d processed his actions; he was holding a limp Irish man who was going to slaughter him - great. ) Grunting; an effortless tug manoeuvred him into immortal arms; carrying him to the car where he ran an assessment. The man's vital signs were superb considering all he endured; well damn. ‘You’re a fucking idiot but I won’t let you die.’

Strapping him inside awaiting VEHICLE; he had the sense to cuff his hands; checking his watch. Narcotics of such nature usually kept the average under for two hours but this was bloody Moriarty; likely to show him otherwise. ( Eyes glanced back, hastily kicking in the engine, driving and breaking several speed limits. ) Not even the flash of sirens halted urgency, effortlessly losing them and swerving onto his own land. Only now did the tension subside - magic of the place making it inaccessible to anyone but he.

40 minutes had passed by the time he’d POSITIONED him inside his apartment; successfully restrained to the bed-stead, removing his phone and placing it down. ( Good luck, Moran trying to locate the GPS ) - supernatural security he owned would send him on a wild goose chase. Ha, he’d PAY to see it.
