Yesterday I thought about The Spiderwick Chronicles again so I opened an older sketch of @emmacreatures and my ship to finish it and my gosh I still love these two so much …
I‘m still hoping for a S2 renewal by the way. 😔🧡

This is Grandymill, a 200 year old beech treefolk who very rarely leaves their tree but enjoys watching the humans that come and go around them. they are a friendly and loving being who adores humanity and the creativity the humans produce. they will impart their knowledge through the nuts they drop and their shade should a human or faerie sit at their base.
so adoring are they of the love humans are capable of that they allowed Lucinda to carve her and Valentina's initials into their bark. Despite their motherly affections for those who visit them, and they are visited often, Grandymill has a great sense of longing and loneliness that haunts them. Unable to go too far from their tree they cannot explore the way they want nor can they have the relationships they want.

Hia!! I give to you my spider wick OC! His name is Samuel!! I'll tell you guys more about him after I get less nervous about posting him!! So pretty soon I'll add to this post!!
Wanted to draw Dorian and @emmacreatures ‘s Sarah ( Mulgarath and Serena ) sharing a soft moment! I love how they’re both disguising as humans who seemingly simply enjoy the rain - but in actuality rain means so much more to them than meets the eye, it nourishes his forests - and it reminds her of her home in the depths of the ocean. 🍂🌊
