Let's say a 17 year old from reality falls into the FOPverse somehow and wants to get home. They clearly know Timmy would be one of the instant options to go with and ask for help, but I assume if he confirms to a 17 year old that he has fairies, things would go preeetty wrong... What do you think would be the best way to go around it for said 17 yo to get home? What obsticles would fall in the way? ( How would a 17 yo approach 10 yos without looking creepy or suspicious to begin with? )

I think the real question here is, where did “they clearly know Timmy would be one of the instant options” come from?

Um… getting through to Timmy’s parents would probably work best. They’re very flexible and it probably wouldn’t be hard to say, “Hey, could I have dinner with you?” and then chat to Timmy over the table. The biggest problem would be the risk involved with eating Mom’s food. That’s pretty daring. If the 17-year-old isn’t the type to stroll up and ask to join a meal, Timmy’s parents could take initiative and offer the meal first. Perhaps they confused this person with someone famous, like Chip or Britney or someone random from TV.

Actually, to be honest my first thought was for said 17-year-old to befriend Gary and Betty, because they are also teens who interact with younger kids on a daily basis, so they probably have the connections to hook him or her up. Granted, Gary and Betty may not qualify as “not looking creepy or suspicious”, but they’re the best medium between teens and children the show has to offer. Also, they’re incredible and underrated and need more love, seriously.

The other options would be things like catching Timmy outside of school or at the arcade, running into him in the dump because this 17-year-old has befriended Mark, or something involving connections with Vicky. Or Chloe. The news channel may be useful in some way too.

I’m very adamant about sticking to the “lose your fairies if you tell” canon (I did NOT like the live-action movies), so I’m not sure I can help you there. I know that A) Kids with godparents can know about fairies and be fine (Vicky was never proven to have had her mind erased after “Scary Godcouple” and I’m curious to know how this ties in with “Certifiable Super Sitter”), and B) Jimmy Neutron is allowed to know about Timmy’s “magic” because he thinks Cosmo and Wanda are “reality-bending computer programs”. 

So it seems like as long as the “fairy godparents” connection isn’t made, any other belief about fantastical world-altering powers is a-okay. These ideas should give you a starting place (I love the heck out of the Learn-A-Torium, and you could always have a plot where Mom’s dinner is disgusting so Timmy and this 17-year-old eat out someplace - compare with “Food Fight” - and talk).

More elements should fall into place as you work, so come back with more questions if you want my help. Good luck!

i am always 100% down for more general content, i wish to be drowned in beautiful character accurate representation and mundane AUs and, sign me UP for relatively non-biased rewriting of entire episode because hohh-boy if there’s one thing i agree on with people it’s that some of the writing in this show is scary bad

and Oh Yeah, MY FAVORITE THING EVER I WANNA SEE MORE OF IS BroTP TIMCHLOE INTERACTIONS!! BESTIES FOR LIFE!!!! wouldn’t hurt to have less people completely dismissing her as a *bratty girl making fun voice* ’’’’’’’’’’’’’mary sue’’’’’’’’’’’’’

my other main fandom is Dan Phan and there’s absolutely nothing lacking in content there so i guess my only complaint would be that sometimes it could get a teeeeeeeeeeny tiiiiiiiiiiny bit elitist

lessee here… Off the top of my head;(as if you don’t already know all of these because i won’t shut up in Skype, but hey, i managed to sneak in something you didn’t know as a little teeny bit of extra ;D)

-TransBoy!Timmy who wished himself up a life as a cis-boy first thing he realised he can do that without anyone, save his fairies, being the wiser and who only lets a teeny tiny small select number of super close friends know and usually only because he was forced to by circumstances.

-he still likes to wear ’’’’’girly’’’’’ clothes and feel cute though and he knows enough about make up later on that girls actually ask him for help :00

-Timmy and Chloe meet when they’re about eleven going into twelve, as far as I’m concerned

-Chloe gives him a pair of star shaped earrings for their 13th birthday and May the Force be With You if u try to separate him from them (he gets her a new headband with a star ornament on it)

-Chloe puts her foot down and practically forces Timmy and Remy to talk it out and form a tentative friendship first thing after Timmy slips up in front of her about the rich kid and she decides that’s very sad, must do something about it. Timmy and Remy do have a more personal heart-to-heart away from her ears and come to a mutual agreement on their own to not mess with each other anymore.

-they still continue to mess with each other, but no longer with malicious intent, and when one of them DOES come out with bruised feelings, the other one eventually goes and apologises because sorry for being a jerk, man, i didn’t   r e a l l y   want to hurt you

-from that point on Remy feels secure in the fact that he has two best friends he can always rely on and who are willing to love him for him (he knew about Timmy’s little secret before Chloe (there was a tumblr post i picked this up from, i think it’s lost somewhere in my likes, i’ll let u know if i find it; to nut-shell it, remy heard timmy talking abt it with his fairies and was a jerk and took advantage of it, but later apologised because he realised how low making fun of a guy for that is and i guess that was their last interaction before Chloe waltzed into the picture))  I WANT THIS CHILD TO BE HAPPY

-Timmy gives Sparky to Imaginary Gary at some point before Chloe comes into his life, because Gary liked the pooch and could offer him a non-stagnant life travelling around with him and Big Brother Tommy in the Striker-Z car (which they more or less tricked Mr Turner (or, UNCLE Thaddeus Timmy’s Dad (s/o to @fountainpenguin)) into giving to them), after Timmy just couldn’t afford the danger of keeping him around anymore

-Sparky’s magic powers serve as a direct communication link between Gary and Timmy for when one or the other is out of cell phone range. …it makes sense to me, okay?

-Aunt Hummanuh is appointed as Tommy and Gary’s Mother and lives in a nice apartment in urban Dimmsdale with her boyfriend Yowza. They visit her occasionally.

-when Chloe meets Gary and Tommy, the first thing she does before anything else is fall head over heels in love with Sparky. she proceeds to love and baby him at every little chance she gets <3

If we go with the hc that Foop lives alone, how would an awkward meet-up with his parents be like? Like, Foop's just lingering around Anti-Fairy World and suddenly runs into Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda. Also, any thoughts on where they might've went? :0 I've been thinking about it a bit but I haven't gotten too far.

That would be way awkward. Although, this apparently isn’t the first time they’ve moved without him, so maybe it’s become routine by this point. Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda are being snuggly on the couch in their new home in front of the fire, and all of a sudden Foop walks in, throws down his school bag, walks to the bathroom to brush his teeth, and puts himself straight to bed.

Please keep in mind that I had already headcanoned both camarilla courts and their families living in the castle too. So like. Apparently everyone left him. Ow. This episode is sticking holes all over “Frayed Knots” which is so not radical.

I do have some thoughts on where Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda might have gone, though I’m still playing around with ideas.

First off, Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda leaving their son AND their castle is really weird to begin with, so that shocked me from the get-go. I’ve headcanoned the castle as both their government building and their home. I mean, Foop has a bed there. The sign says Anti-Cosmo’s castle. It should be their home. Unless they have a small manor house somewhere, but you’d think they’d still tell their kid they were going.

But Foop mentioned that they’ve “moved away without him a few times before”. So, what if they didn’t actually move? What if they’re out busy doing leader things? Or visiting a summer home for spring break and/or didn’t know when he was coming home? Maybe he drew the conclusion that they’d moved away on his own. I mean, if they’re gone, it’s not like they can tell him they moved, as opposed to just being out doing things. Could’ve left a note, I guess.

No matter what level his intelligence is, Foop IS still a baby. What if this turns out to just be an object permanence joke? Heh.

I think we’ll have to sit tight for now and see if future episodes give us any hints (I’m kind of doubting they will, but I guess we’ll see). I mean, apparently his parents still lived with him during “Return of the Losers”, since he mentions Anti-Cosmo put him in time-out.
