ah, well. maybe i DO want to talk briefly abt them for a bit. “them” as in my totally delusional version of spifan that i hope one day will get green lit for a spirou de album, or not. it doesnt matter, i just want to see if i can finish this script, since i never finish anything and yet i’ve had like over dozens of aus and plots for these two, i have a problem. anyways it can take 10 or 20 years for all i care

everything stays mostly the same except its grittier and more political/philosophical? and these men are more like morally ambiguous social outcast wet rats than typical action hero spirou usually is. it digs into how theyre two scummy broke journalists living in a corner of belgium, trying everything to fight against capitalism and oppression, to let their voices heard, to prove their names, to bring back freedom of the press. ik its grim the way i dont think they would ever make it, they can never win, but i dont think it would be that much of a bad ending, since as long as theyre together, they can still go on

i’ve asked my dear sis to write me a fic for them, its kinda political tho but i guess spirou has always been a bit political you just gotta look for it. think of it as an intro for all of this, since it talks abt their struggles, fantasio and spirou’s origins, their relationships and worldview and personalities, and also, it has pseudo prune in it as fantasio’s old colleague. hes based on prunelle but hes not, so we call him pseudo prune lol
