Peanuts by Charles Schulz
hiya this is such a cute idea!!! could you do spilt milk by jellyfish please? :-)
Schleich Pony Flutter Curtain 42484 || spilt milk, jellyfish
"Perhaps, if I could play the visions of my life on the miasma of the world, I would find a home in the loam earth and sulfur marshes. Perhaps the ground would remember the shape of my footsteps, and hold me in the mud. Perhaps, somewhere, I am still a child, kissed softly by the summer sun."
Believe me when I say I miss myself too.
pick up the carton
the milk is spilling.
i hit the carton trying to move too fast
i knocked it over trying to preform just right
and now it’s laying on it’s side
now there’s such a mess
it’s spilling, and it keeps spilling
i’m mopping it as fast as i can but it just keeps going
and i haven’t picked the carton off its side
spilling its contents
it’s willingness, it’s appreciation, it’s love
all over the floor, to waste
it spills out on its side
i can’t clean it up if it just keeps pouring
the carton is still on its side
why worry myself to death over the mess
when the carton is still on its side
pick up the fucking carton
Jellyfish - All Is Forgiven
Felicity spoilers
I really do get my best ideas when I’m supposed to be doing something 😩
Anyway-
I’ve said before that Felicity ends up being turned against her will and I have since decided who was the one to turn her, though Felicity won’t know.
When she wakes up after thinking she’s died, she’s confused first and then when it sinks in what’s happened, she’s absolutely livid.
Now none of the Mikaelsons have ever experienced Felicity when she’s truly free to act on her emotions. Not to mention, they haven’t known her for very long at this point. Finn and Kol a couple weeks and the other three for a week at most.
When she was ill, she was pretty docile for the most part. Yeah she had some spark and in a few instances, her anger came out to play. But again, she pretty much goes with the flow.
So it comes as a surprise, not necessarily how angry she is, but how her anger changes this perception that they have of her. In particular, the perception of how Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah.
It’s also the first concrete instance of Felicity revealing that she knows more than she should.
The pull she feels towards the Mikaelsons, the soulmate bonds that she can now feel as a vampire, just fuel the betrayal she feels by being turned, and Felicity decides to leave.
Well they all take issue with that, Klaus in particular because well Felicity is HIS.
Again, I see my ideas like a movie and even then it’s just kinda vibes and impressions and maybe a word or two- so I don’t know EXACTLY what would be said.
But!
They try to stop her from leaving, and Felicity throws their past cruelty in their faces, Elijah, Klaus, and Rebekah’s.
Why would she want to stay with them when already they had taken from her? Taken her magic, her ability to be in control of her life and death. Just like they had taken 900 years from Finn- which they were all complicit in- by leaving him in his coffin and hundreds of centuries all together, from Kol because he’s easier to deal with when he’s quiet in his coffin? Why would she want to stay with people like that? (Bonus points if this is the first time Finn is hearing that Kol was also daggered for centuries) With people who are selective with their love and yet claim the importance of family above all else? With people who are supposedly connected to her on a cosmic level, but chose to keep it from her?
Felicity is aware of the things they’ve done to others and that none of them are really good people, but all the shit they do to each other? And they want her to stick around?
Yeah, absofuckinglutely not.
And Klaus threatens to MAKE her stay. And Felicity tells him to do it- he’ll just be proving her point.
And that if he compels her, they’ll all have truly lost her- because what Felicity has always valued more than anything else is the ability to choose. And she says this out loud, that of course if he compelled her to forget, if he compels her to remember it differently, then she wouldn’t feel the need to be angry, to leave. But then he would never know if anything she said or did was real. If the love that she would eventually come to have for all of them, was genuine.
Maybe she throws in a little “I should have known better than to expect you to act out of character.” Or something like that under her breath as she leaves. Alluding to the disconnect she feels between herself and this world’s “characters” and how she feels kinda like an outsider. I think I’ve addressed this before 🤔
It also sets up nicely the coming discussion/confrontation about the daggers. They can’t continue to ignore it when Felicity has ripped the bloody wound right open and addressing it is necessary in order to get Felicity to come back.
Part one of Lemons is planned more or less, I just gotta plan part two, which would start after this point. And broskis, I’m excited about it.
