My first brownie took 3 times the time to prepare. I guess I’m getting more and more familiar with the procedures etc. I would say I’m pretty satisfied with the outcome. At least it wasn’t burned or inedible. 5-7. I have been fasting meat so I was looking for many alternatives of vegetables / eggs only recipes. I found something called spinach brownies so I got myself 1.2kg of spinach...I definitely over-bought. It isn’t a taste I would like normally. I never really like onion and cheese bread growing up and this tastes just like that but I think I’m just having very low expectations. It’s edible. LOL. 2020.05.09 8-9. Creamy spinach! I am missing the creamy spinach from Braai Republic. I used to work part time there and that is one of my favourite side dishes of all time. Tried to recreate but I think the recipe indicated more flour than what Braai would have used. Another edible dish! 2020.05.10 10. French toast and spinach apple juice. I got a few suggestions on what I can do with my leftover spinach in the fridge. So far I did two of the suggestions I got. Tastes like apple juice but only with extra chewing texture.
