I adore the color of these flower. They only come out in our garden for a short time every year. They are perfect for pairing with this rather fabulous Spinel in Marble from Vietnam. It is natural Spinel and Pargasite crystals in Marble. These unusual pieces come from Sungate Mine, in An Phu, Vietnam. We have a very limited number of them, some with both Spinel & Pargasite, and some with just Spinel or Pargasite. You can see them all tomorrow! If you look closely, you can see the Spinel formed in octahedra, some of which are even twinned! Spinel is often used as a substitute for Rubies and Sapphires as they can mimic the color of these fine gems but cost far less. Spinel brings rejuvenation to that which is being degraded.
