hmm well it’s a bit hard to explain i’ve pretty much always liked them since i first read battle tendency and way back then like a year ago people used to get mad at me and say stuff like “well the pillar men are bad and killed people” but when you really think about it the only ppl they kill are nazis so that doesn’t make them so bad and this is probably where it gets pretty subjective but to me it seems that they only ever attack out of self defense it’s been a while since i read it but i can’t remember if they ever attack first that’s all i can think of for now but if you have anymore questions feel free to ask :0
