Sorry, but William having the urge to attic-wife Zeke has smacked me in the face and won't let go until I post about it.

Zeke has been through hell and highwater, every person in his life has betrayed him or hurt him at some point... William just wants to keep him safe, at home, where he can love him with no worries, no stress. Just them. Only them. Forever.

He doesn't do it, nor does he bring it up to Zeke. For one, he knows Brian is important to Zeke, and if he's honest, he likes the kid a lot too. (He loves everything Zeke has done or created.) He can't take that away just to selfishly keep Zeke all to himself.

More importantly, he doesn't have to. He's well aware of how capable Zeke is, he doesn't need protecting. but God how William wants to protect him anyways.
