Eek I'm so excited about this workshop... This fun and relaxed introductory course to the versatile craft of stencil printing. Guest tutor @melaniewarddesign will be introducing you to stencil printing, using Melanie's own designs inspired by her love of nature you'll learn the basic techniques for use on both fabric and paper. The course has been created for complete beginners and you will be guided through the process of building up your foliage design on the bag using specialist paints and finally how to fix the decoration to ensure it is washable. All materials supplied, an A4 sheet of stencil designs will be yours to keep. It's taken almost a year but I've finally got a sign up outside the studio at Spire Hill in Stalbridge. There are 15 companies on site here including Rodger at Red Fox who amongst other things makes fabulous pine kitchen tables, Andy at Spiral Interiors making bespoke kitchens, we have a French brocante, Margot and Steve at the @thyme_after_time cafe and Matt of Clear Signs, who made my new sign for me.
