I just wanted to say that I am OBSESSED with your art. I originally found you through Hazbin Hotel and TADC, but then I read Warlock Holmes and listened to The Amelia Project and loved them too! You actually inspired me to start drawing again. I wonder if you may give me some more media recommendations since our tastes seem to be so closely aligned?
Thank you so very much! That's wonderful to hear, happy drawing!!💖💖💖
I've been thinking about this ask for a while, cause I love recommending stuff but I always forget everything as soon as I'm asked.😂
But here's more of....
Greykolla's media recommendations!
Spirited. TV series
Australian TV show from 2009! about a recently single mother that moves into a new apartment, and falls in love with the ghost of a British punk rocker that only she can see.
It's sadly very hard to find online anymore but I love it so much!
Black Books - TV series
Best British sitcom ever I know it by heart! It's got such a great depiction of a platonic m/f relationship. And it's so funny and borderline surreal.
Kane and Feels paranormal Investigators - fiction podcast
I've recommended this podcast before and I'll do it again! It's so freaking weird and good and the production is excellent! The little one solves problems and the big one makes tea! You know you love it!👌👌👌
Wizard for Hire - trology
this is a middle grade trilogy that I devoured 3-4 years ago. This boy's parents are scientists and they get kidnapped, so he hires a wizard to help him find them. But is he really a wizard or just a nice loonatic? This book has so much childlike whimsy, and it also punches you in the gut with REAL SHIT. (Great cover art also👌).
Birdboy and the forgotten children.
I love this movie, the music and the art style is so gorgeous, I even bought the art book for it. It's a Spanish coming of age horror. It's a kind of "soft" post apocalypse setting. There's a group of kids that want to escape from their island and parents. I love dreamlike horror like this so much!
Dan Vs.
My favourite trope forever and always; is a cute married couple and their pet gremlin.
surprisingly really funny show! With a lot more genuine friendship moments than you'd think.
Mr Robot.
Tonal whiplash! Some good GOOD QUALITY TV show here! Oh man if there's anything I wish I could watch for the first time again, it's this! Every twist made me climb the walls and bite the furniture! Its about this antisocial mentality unstable and deeply lonely hacker guy, that basically slowly takes down the government and it's GREAT. Elliot is such a wet kitten that gets NO PEACE. Played by the love of my life, Rami Malec.
Jesus okay I think that's enough for now.😂 I like to think I know of some hidden gems and I'm always happy to share them! Thank you for the ask and letting me procrastinate by setting this all up!😂💖
