Pensando en poliquetos árbol de navidad. (Género Spirobranchus)
Incrustan su cuerpo en cavidades de corales vivos; para luego desde allí desplegar sus branquias externas, que usan para respirar y alimentarse, filtrando el agua que pasa a su alrededor. Es algo fascinante que para muchos animales en el océano, la estrategia más efectiva para obtener nutrientes sea quedarse fijo, lanzar una red y esperar a que el alimento llegue hasta ellos.
De alguna manera todos somos un poco como estos poliquetos: al mirar feeds en Instagram, tumblr, Pinterest, spotify, YouTube, etc., pero tambien al leer libros, ver películas o series, estamos constantemente filtrando, pasando por nuestra mirada una cantidad enorme de información en busca de algo que haga click con nosotros, para compartirlo, rebloguearlo, darle like, conversarlo, guardarlo de alguna manera dentro de nosotros. Tal vez este blog sea eso.

Christmas Tree Worm
Spirobranchus giganteus (Serpulidae) is a species of polychaete worms living in tropical oceans
The tentacles of Spirobranchus giganteus are arranged in a stacked spiral of several whorls. Each tentacle bears pinnules; the pinnules bear laterofrontal cilia, and the cilia create currents that help the worm to filter their food.
