Ancient olive tree (Olea europaea). Over decades and centuries, independent shoots grow, press against each other, and eventually fuse together via a process called inosculation. This creates the twisted, braided, "multi-trunked" appearance seen here.Native to the Mediterranean Basin, the Arabian Peninsula, and parts of Asia and Africa.

Painted Grasshopper or Aak Grasshopper(Poekilocerus pictus). Native to the Indian subcontinent. They sequester chemicals from Calotropis plants which are highly toxic, as a form of chemical defense.

Female Leopard Lacewing (Cethosia cyane), native to South and Southeast Asia. Caterpillars feed exclusively on flowering vines of the passion flower family.
