Now that I know a little bit more of how the wild gears are functioning I was on search for other pens. Some of the gears got quite big holes. I have the whole palette of Stabilo 88 which make a 0.7 mm line. But why not combine two different thicknesses. I got some Stabilo 68 pens. They draw a 1 mm line. It is great that both thicknesses got exactly the same colors. And I found some 1 mm gel pens…

It was my christmas wish and they are only to be ordered in USA from the designer himself. We ordered them early, but the fantastic german post had my package forgotten in a corner for more than 3 weeks in Frankfurt. Hey, there, yourzfoureverr! A spirograph is an art set/mathematical toy. The set is made of gears with little holes in them that fit together with these wheels with teeth. Through the holes you draw these interesting shapes by rotating the gear inside of the wheel.
