The boy smiles widely and decided to hug him. "Varric told me that hugs are nice to express friendship and affection. I like hugs.." Looking at his elven friend, smiling even more.

Thaewen sniffed, giving him a tight squeeze before he stepped back, wiping away his tears. "Varric is very correct there," he uttered, very much overcome with emotion. "I... I don't know what to say."

Thaewen blinked a moment before he covered his mouth, tearing up. "You made-... oh you precious thing," he started, then sniffing as he wiped away his tears. "That- That's the sweetest thing anyone's ever done for me. Thank you. Thank you so much. I'll put it on my night stand." 

He sniffed, smiling again before throwing one arm around Cole's neck, tugging him in and planting a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you, bless you."
