Well, Spitfire Audio is migrating its LABS library over to Splice INSTRUMENT and is no longer offering new LABS subscriptions. They've directed me toward Splice instead for the same price.
I tried subscribing to Splice INSTRUMENT earlier this month, but I couldn't get the payment or billing setup to go through. Nothing on my end seems blocked, but it still wouldn't process. I've also seen similar reports from other musicians, though support experiences seem pretty inconsistent depending on who you ask.
At this point, I'm not sure I want to push further with it, especially with mixed experiences from long-term users.
So, it looks like I'll be hunting for an alternative plugin setup while I finish off the projects that still rely on LABS+ instruments. Thankfully, they are allowing us to continue using LABS+ instruments in unfinished projects even without a subscription. Riposa in pace. 🕯️
