I feel Spitfire doesn't get that a lot so he's willing to! Plus he doesn't have legs, just flames, making him short. Sometimes people think he's cute but not exactly huggable.

Spitfire points behind him with a sweat drop, “I don’t ‘like’ her that way, I think. Plus, it’s not subtle she’s trying to get Nightfall’s attention, not mine.”
Stormblade stands back to back with Nightfall, she says “Your hair is as radiant as always!”
