Not a doodle but I’ve been thinking about your Gideon aus and what if instead of what Din finds in season 3 Din finds a child. You are a Mandalorian and there is a child in front of you. He is in the image of the man who has slaughtered your people, turned your world to glass-dust and hunted your people to near extinction, but at the end of it all he is a child and you have found him
How does it feel to have an absolute massive brain
About Clone Moff Gideon just imagine what his relationship with Grogu is! He eventually learns what Gideon did to his family and he's so ashamed and apologizing to Grogu who reassures him because he's not Moff Gideon, he never hurt Grogu, he's his brother
I also saw someone hc that Moff Gideon wanted to be a Mandalorian but couldn't and that was why he hated them so much and wore beskar armor, so for his clone to turn out to be just what Gideon wanted yet being completely different
This idea now lives rent free in my head!!!
me and my beloved mutual @bleakbluejay had a talk about this actually and they pointed out how, because Gideon prime wanted his clones to be force-sensitive, he most likely used Grogu's blood to give them that ability. So Gideon2 has Grogu's exact powers, near exact force signature, and a force bond with him from the very start. I imagine Din Djarin had quite a bit of a scare when Grogu started talking about his imaginary friend is all I'm saying
if Gideon2 and Grogu ever got close, suppose the clone wouldn't find that all too bad, because Grogu is nice and his powers are cool. Be a bit of a shame though, because the Force was what separated him from Gideon prime and probably gave him any sense of individuality. And now he finds out that even that was taken from someone else. no part of him really came from him. he's like a Frankenstein's monster
Look, the Gideon's surviving clone and Gideon's surviving child clone ideas are certainly great, but what about a fix-it au where ALL the clones survived? Let's imagine that the writers didn't forget about how much attention in Star Wars is paid to the lives of clones and the unfair treatment of them as weak-willed copies, and did not let Din pull the lever. Then we would have a WHOLE SQUAD of absolutely chaotic guys, amasing different from each other and at the same time completely identical in appearance! The Republic would have to spend a lot of nerves before someone thought of finding an oldie Captain Rex and giving these big children to him to raise. After all, he is no longer afraid of anything after the 501 legion! Just imagine, one of them dreams of sitting quietly in a corner with a book (which he learned to read VERY quickly), someone loves to arrange small dirty tricks and have fun, and someone, quite possibly, is seriously devoted to the Empire and tries to act like an officer, which drives everyone around him into bewilderment. I think it would be so much fun :)
AU where ALL the clones survived and everyone is understandably a bit panicked before they realise that all of them are just Some Guys + brotherly interactions between the clones. They'd stick close together especially when they'd face shit for who their prime was. One of them goes 'well I think the Empire was right' and all the other clones give him the Side-Eye. In the next half hour that clone changes his mind. They all find Grogu unreasonably adorable and Din finds himself being trailed by not one, not two, but at least SIX Gideon's who caught onto the sheer amount of 'happy safe dad' vibes Grogu is putting in the Force. We're gonna need a lot of scarves
Hi! It's me, your little Moff G-fan hahaa! In line with your recent post, I just wanted to ask. Since Baby Moff G isn't too talky yet, do you see himself pulling on Din's cape or tugging on a piece of clothing (not his fingers or actual body/muscle part, but just a piece of clothing Din has on) since he's still adjusting? ♥
Oh he's definitely yanking on that cape as soon as Din gets it back on. That, coupled with Grogu's way of getting his attention by just sitting on his boot. Its a wonder the man gets anywhere
You inspired me again :D
OH MY GOD!!!!!!! OH MY GOD ITS THEM!!! GIDEON^2
Hey, I wanted to say that I read the third chapter of Spitting image and I really liked it! I really like the way you make the Armourer. It can be seen that it’s hard for her to accept the Din's new foundling, but she tries and, unlike Bo-Katan, she really gives this child a chance in some sense (although I think Bo will be able to do it someday too:)). There were so many cute moments in this chapter!
The moment when Gideon watched the video of his Prime's performance is very catchy and emotional for me, really. Dean's emotions are written very cool! It feels good what was going on inside him when the child correlated himself with the person on the screen. It's funny, he's so small and barely talks, but he's a pretty smart guy. I definitely love this baby!
P.s. Gideon is cool even when he is present in the plot only as an ember in the background:DDDD
AHHHH this is so lovely!!! Thank you so much im so happy you enjoyed fhe chapter!!! The Armourer LOATHES the idea that her community isn't a safe place for a child but, for Gideon2 in particular, it really isn't the safest. Maybe someday
Gideon2 got introduced to the concept of mirrors!! And then he finds this weird blue mirror that doesnt actually work right...thats weird...why is it talking when he isnt...?
(Gideon-prime is going to have a lot more influence in the later chapters heehee. I love him i need to rattle him like a baby's toy)
I suddenly thought that it would be funny if the surviving Gideon's clone met with Rex! Perhaps when the Republic would understand with whom she is dealing, she sent Rex to "negotiate" so that one clone would convince the other and agree with him. I think it could be interesting, because Rex already knows how to live with the fact that he is a clone, and he could teach our guy a lot.Yes, and he would have trusted his own kind more, it seems to me. Also, Rex would definitely teach him how to joke "clonic jokes", and everyone would think it is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE
AAHJAJAJWJEJWJJJWJW WAIT i love the idea of gideon clone meeting up with other clones. Like maybe he' s abot apprehensive still because none of the other clones were based off the genes of a genocidal maniac like he was, but if anyone would understand itd probably be more clones. Mans need friends i think
