Please my lord Akudaikaan-sama let that just be something for the intro. They cant get rid of the incredibly physical and melee based combat. That was the best part about the battles. ;_;

Now that i am acutally paying attention to the intro’s visuals, there is this moment where Mai very robotically moves her head so it faces the camera without changing her expression at all. I even went frame by frame to check it out.

Combining that with my previous observations about her i am now fully convinced that Mai is actually a sentient robot build by her alien-disguised-as-human family to research and observe the human concept of friendship.

I’d say “You’ll get used to it“, but Nagisa and Honoka never seemed to for some reason.

Yay! I hope the next sports episodes are better.

This was a very middle of the road episode. There is almost nothing to say about it except that i really enjoyed the family stuff. I think if you’re into base- or softball you’ll get more out of this episode than i did.

Saki was great, Mai was Mai being Mai, and overall it was a decent episode.

I’d give it 3 generations before the famine decimates life on the planet enough that a powerhungry dictator comes into power and hunts Saki and her family down to give her the ironic punishment of being eaten alive by the people who were starving because of her out of 5.

Alright dude, you can let your Uzainaa possess sports equipment ONCE, alright? Twice if it has nothing to do with softball the second time. It’s a new series, so i will not be too harsh, and understand it’s tempting, but please think of the viewers.

Oh yeah, i forgot, they suck.

That’s nice.

Does she know the rules? Is she just as lost as i am? Is knowledge of softball part of her programming?

I feel ya girls. I know what loosing spectacularly feels like. Though i am pretty sure they are going to turn it around before the end of the episode.

I actually have no idea how anything that she has drawn could help them suck less at softball, so i am pretty intersted where this is going.

So it’s just drawings of them?

Oh man, are we going to do the stupid fun thing again? Those were my least favourite sport episodes last season. Crossing my fingers.
