It took Jotaro’s voice calling out to him to bring him back. It wasn’t until he moved that he even realized just how much he was shaking.
“I…” Kakyoin’s throat felt dry, but Jotaro had also said he had been screaming. Everything had felt so far away at the time he couldn’t tell. “I thought Dio was there,” he admitted quietly, lowering himself into a chair. It sounded idiotic when he said it out loud. “I’m sorry I woke you.”
│☆│ Jotaro sighed, sitting up on the couch where he’d been napping. ❝...Are you frequently having thoughts about Dio?❞ He questioned, his voice a little quieter than usual. He got up, coming over to observe Kakyoin. ❝You’re shaking a lot.❞ He reached down, taking Kakyoin’s wrist, feeling his pulse. ❝...Are you okay?❞
He was genuinely concerned for his friend, biting his lip. It’d been a few months since they’d defeated Dio. However, Jotaro wasn’t completely free of Dio’s wrath himself. He frequently had horrific nightmares about the whole fight, which woke him up in cold sweat.
