Also is nobody wondering about Marina I feel like all I’ve seen is “omg infinite replay ability!” WHERE IS PEARLS WIFE??? The fact that the tower is thing is called the spire of order or whatever leads me to believe Marina is in charge of the whole thing and this is her after the chaos vs order splatfest but at the same time I don’t want that to be true :( I’m having a hard time telling if this is canon or if it’s a hypothetical situation that tells the story of like “what if order won instead?”

Considering the outcome of the chaos vs order splatfest was off the hook just making new music and experimenting with a band I don’t see how that alone would lead to Marina going full antagonist. Unless something got to her the same way Callie got brainwashed by Octavio, I don’t think Marina would do something like this of her own free will. Maybe a partial sanitization??? IDK IM WORRIED FOR HER (this is why y’all should have been on team order just saying)

On the bright side I think pearl’s little drone is adorable and the ink abilities thing? Genius. I can see there being a ton of “can you beat splatoon 3 side order with ONLY (ink color)” challenges once this drops. And I’m super happy we get to see Dedfish!! It looks like she’s going to be helping us along the way and I’m really excited to get to know her further 🫶🏻 I also think once we beat the main story we might get the option to have the splatoon 2 hub world as a thing we can choose similar to how we can go to the splatoon 1 hub world. At least I HOPE we can get that, I need Pearl and Marina during splatfests again… even if it’s just for a few more….

Overall I’m really excited for side order and I’m looking forward to spring!! The amount of brainrot I am going to have when this thing drops please be prepared for an influx of posts lmao
