my version of captain, agent 3, agent 4, and the mechanic (all of them INCLUDING EIGHT are non-binary)

(San-banme means 'third' in japanese)

San-banme is kinda a fusion between kaori john and their pre-promotion emotional scars

They seem relatively emotionless and chill, albeit this is just trauma masking which oftentimes fails to work. They have to keep finding new hobbies every few weeks so they'll forget at least temporarily

San-banme has slowly grown a distrust towards the new squidbeak splatoon's members, notably callie and marie. They do not feel the same feeling anymore when hearing the inkantation.

Neo 3 is an inktoling resembling veronika, hiro (two main reps) and anenome (there is also xeno 3 and argo 3 which represent hiroanenome and anenomeveronika respectively)

Neo grew up in the splatlands, curious behind the history of the world after finding their little buddy (nowadays buddy)

After finally reaching 14 they moved to splatsville where they met xeno and argo (initially as enemies before they had to do a group project and accidentally ended up doing the alterna missions)

They are the smarter one of the group especially when it comes to history. They also study relatively well compared to other splatland denizens.

Cory is a relatively unique squidkid, being both mute, a glow squid and nearly got killed by a elevator blender (i could make a post about their backstory if you'd like)

Unlike some mute characters in media (i cant name one unlike this,,,), they are willing to take risks, aswell as to being as fair as possible with others. They also really like urbexing.

They are best friends with Eight (see my first post on tumblr)

Noel is based on the treehouse post-direct gameplay avatar cuz i thought it was cute

They are a great mechanic, having learned such abilities from generations of dedication

They are a generally social person, willing to chit-chat with Deep Cut even during missions sometimes, keeping moral etiquette in mind at the same time. Think of sheldon but taller and less annoying
