Had a dream about Side Order.
Nintendo released it early with only 24 hour notice of the change of release date so I was visiting my Grandparents who insisted on watching me play and asking too many questions so I couldn’t focus on actually playing.
Anyway, it started with the new squidbeak splatoon (Callie, Marie, Captain 3, and Cuttlefish) playing as agent 8 going to visit Inkopolis Square where a white Sea Bunny character (like a rip off of CQ cumber) leads you to the tower of order but before you can enter a white & furry DJ Octavio attacks.
You fight DJ Octavio on ink rails with dulies. Once he’s defeated he falls into a ditch but you see a hand reach out before the camera switches to the squidbeak splatoon.
The sea bunny drives you on a motor boat across a lake (inside the tower of order). DJ octavio in octoling form is revealed and joins you on the boat.
As agent 8 you are led to an emptied swimming pool where a single skeleton-fish enemy from the trailer is spawned as a tutorial.
Then there’s a cutscene of the sea bunny reporting agent 8’s arrival to a shadowy figure who is clearly an evil agent 4.
Agent 4- called ??? - tells their minion not to let them “ know who’s in charge. The squidbeak splatoon will recognize me” … it’s weird having them talk, even in a dream! Evil agent 4 orders to have them meet the pearl bot at a cafe and you have to order a pizza that gives you “ink usage up” as an ability.
Pearl bot appeared and before her dialogue box could have words in it I woke up.
I wanna draw the evil agent 4 I saw in my dream because they were kinda swag with it!
