Nah when I saw the splatoon announcement I was so excited because I have the squid sisters amiibo and a few other's and I wanted a octoling villager, and Cece/Vinché squid sisters, only to see the cosplayers have abandoned the squid sisters and there is no octoling villager, not even inkwell is returning. The new Cece and Viché designs are fire, but I loved there old ones. Plus they are completely ignoring off the hook and normal inklings and octolings.

And don't get me started on the loss of Wolf Link, Gannon, Epona and Medli.

I'm more than happy that animal crossing is adding more crossover villagers, but ignoring five preexisting ones, and drastically changing the designs of the only remaining ones just feels wrong.

EDIT: And Cece is peppy, while Viché is normal, when frye would be a great peppy villager and I'd say shivers snooty. Basically, this whole things not very well thought out (apart from the models for the all new villagers, which are beautiful)
