           ☪️ —— Despite her status, compliments were still quite the luxury. No matter how much she’s told, reassurance never hurt — especially when one’s mind oft contradicted the masses.   ❝ Thanks, darling; I don’t often hear that. ❞  

An intentionally slow blink turns stars into hearts, and hearts into flowers. Her pupils, with every close and reopen, formed a new shape.   ❝ I like to change it up, every now and then — nothing’s wrong with a little fashion. ❞  

Her head is slow to tilt, stars returning amidst the steady narrow of doe eyes.   ❝ Your face… it looks familiar. ❞   Her ears draw back, nose wrinkling as she leans forth.   ❝ Like, I’ve seen your silhouette on a poster before… ❞  

He leans in slightly to continue his admiration.

“ Ohhh... really? That’s truly a shame. The nicest things get overlooked when so much else is... vying for attention. ” Was there really anything about her that didn’t have a unique flair? “ Indeed. Fashion is what separates us from the beasts. ”

The realization that he’s been caught settles in much more quickly, thanks to a familiarization with his inevitable situation. “ Hmm. No... I don’t think so. ” He turns his head away slightly. “ I’m afraid I’m not a famous pop star or anything like that. ”
