Ask Glowing Orchid

Because the concept has been asked about I thought it would be fun to ask Nilla himself…

If you do not know what glowing orchid is, it is my alternate timeline where during when Pure Vanilla casted the Crescent Spell, the curse of doing it instead of taking his memories took his physical form…he was literally burned away by the burst of magic. He cannot pass to the afterlife being his soul is tethered to the light of truth. He is basically in an eternal limbo of haunting and being able to be seen but he hides out in his castle out of grief and sorrowful.

He sees visions of his friends, and mostly spends time in his garden…

This takes place during the castle days, where he roams the abandoned castle alone and sad…

if we have any characters aside from Nilla whom want to be asked go ahead, like the trio, custard cookie , Black Raisin, or Shadow Milk, light of truth, Dark Enchantress, White Lily is asleep so she cannot answer. I won’t be answering anything that will involve spoilers about the fic… but I can answer most stuff in character as Glowing orchid with doodles of him cause I want to draw more.

The main pairings are Purelily and ShadowVanilla, though I do not have any specific details of them yet lol Nilla doesn’t even know shamil yet ask him anyways we need confused Nilly.

All asks are welcomed, unless it’s nsfw stuff, while I do answer that stuff regularly this au is not rated such material…so please don’t ask any Inappropriate stuff…

The Glowing Orchid

Legends speak of the glowing orchid, a being haunting the Castle in The Sky.

At night if you’re lucky you can see a brightly like flickering out from above…

Many don’t dare to go afraid of what could be up there, but some say the ghost looks that of a vanilla orchid, filled with sorrow.

To Gingerbrave it doesn’t seem that scary, they’ve already come so far anyhow!!

Pure Vanilla was one of the ancients locked away in confinement of the kingdoms, his optical lenses damaged beyond repair, unable to see he was left in the Vanilla kingdom to tend to the gardens and help the kingdom. He sometimes felt an unusual sensation of hollowness, sometimes wondering of his companions, sometimes he’d have oddities even with the help of running his diagnostics, a voice calling out. One day he meets someone new, a young child named Custard the Third, who was the grand nephew of the king. He is told to care for the child and he begins to have a connection with him. However the sweet child was victim to mistreatment by his uncle, and Pure Vanilla begins to feel a sense of injustice. A sense to protect someone so small and vulnerable.

One night everything comes crashing down, the king irritated by his own son and falling from the elder council takes it out on the child slapping him. Alcoholic rage consumes him watching the child run to his room. Pure Vanilla program stutters at the sight he tries to intervene telling Custard to please calm down but he is pushed to the ground as the king goes upstairs. Something in him breaks, this isn’t right! This truth is awful! He’s going to kill him! Hurt him like how his friend was hurt! Pure Vanilla’s coding breaks and he is set free in his mind.

Wizard Cookie could never quite understand his biology it was bizarre compared to other cookies. He didn’t have strawberry jam like the others, he could change things about his body, his teeth were jagged and sharp, he grew slower…

He didn’t understand and that frustrated him even more. It was nonsensical in his own origin he didn’t know well. For someone so factual on the world of magic, it was a conundrum not knowing about his own existence.

Experiments never helped either even if they were painful at times…he just wanted to understand, understand what exactly he was made out of. Not even Strawberry Crepe could fully figure it out…
