Just watched the recap for 15x13 on my first watch of Supernatural. And like bro. What is the platonic explanation for that? Like no words...
Why that clip to remind us that Ruby exists? Not one with Sam, or like one with some more plot relevent information? But the clip where she asks Dean if he's the pizza man and then clips of him eating pizza...
And what was the purpose of the first half of it? Linking Cas learning to kiss from the pizza man to Meg (a romantic interest) before saying that Dean is the pizza man is unhinged... I have not watched this episode yet, but this is some top tier queerbaiting...
Given that they likely had 15x18 planned out at this point, this is lowkey baiting that Dean and Cas are endgame in 15x19 and 15x20...
Y'all were in the trenches. I cannot imagine watching this shit live and then having a whole hiatus before the finale with all the Destiel material this season... I am so glad I was not watching this live as an 11 year old.
I know that its not like a relationship parallel for real, but it is solidifying the relationship between Dean and Cas as similar to something "romantic". Or potentially being similar at least... Even if this is meant to show that this is a one-sided romance or something, it just does not come across like that.
