I used to be obsessed with Sam Winchester, and in a way it’s kind of funny because I sort of faded out of that obsession, but a lot of the fandoms I’m in now also coincide with spn (in odd and indirect ways), and it’s like all these blogs are forcefully grabbing me by the throat and saying “remember your fucking roots, bitch.” And I’m listening and you are heard. I miss my freak, Sam and his jerk brother, Dean, and I will be rewatching and sitting through that terrible ass writing just to feel something again.

which means every time Jack refers to Castiel as his father, everyone around him absolutely assumes Castiel was just like 14 when Jack was born

something that’s never talked about: Dean “My Trauma Makes Me Stronger” Winchester having a full blown panic attack when he though he’d lost his car, thing he viewed as his home, the last connection he had to his father. It’s supposed to be a silly, quirky moment, but it’s actually so much more than that

Dean Winchester: the boyfriend that acts like he’s the best thing since sliced bread, but is secretly worried about if you’d like the gift he got you for your anniversary

Sam Winchester: the boyfriend that would sit with you in your apartment and watch crappy reruns of your favourite show, snugged under a blanket and sipping warm coco with marshmallows

Castiel: the boyfriend who would be completely clueless about why you enjoy doing *activity* but would happily join you in it anyway, because he knows you like it, and that’s good enough for him
