Okay real quick
I haven’t watched 13x05 yet, but I am watching the new interview of Jared, Jensen & Alexander that was just released yesterday. Obviously a lot of questions about the return of Castiel, and a journalist asked more or less how the boys will deal with the entity that brought Castiel back. And Jensen answered that Dean doesn’t really care, he’s just glad “his buddy is back”. And it’s logic seing how destroyed Dean is for now.
But I immediately thought... Back in season 8. When Castiel was brought back from Purgatory. Back then, Dean was also really happy that he was back, but he wondered a lot about how it had been possible, and it was an important storyline in the episodes that followed his return.
So why isn’t it the same in season 13? Why wouldn’t Dean wonder about how Castiel was brought back to life yet again?
