Remember when they used to have playful banter on Twitter? I think we’re getting that back!! Also, I bet the reason Cam came back was because Wells agreed to bring Noel back.

This is not the Gallavich or Mosher fan in me talking. It’s just facts. And the fact is that since season 5 Cameron hasn’t been enthusiastic in his role of Ian or with Shameless in general. We’ve seen him care way more for Gotham. When Mickey came back in season 7 we saw Ian ’come alive’ and it was a beauty in itself to witness. Cam has wanted this from the get go. And I dont get people who think he hates Gallavich. He only seems to have onscreen chemistry with Noel. And maybe its because they’ve worked together for so long but I believe he only agreed to come back because Wells agreed to bring Mickey back.

I mean look at their excitement! It goes without saying this is what they both wanted. And I cannot wait to be blown away by their acting in season 10. Especially since we dont just have Mickey back as a guest but as a SERIES REGULAR!!!!

I've started Shameless just a few months ago so I don't know how it was like back in season 4 or 5, but I agree, Cam always seems more enthusiastic when there's Gallavich. I think this has to do with the fact that when Cam started Shameless he was only 15 and he didn't know how to approach it, how to play it (I've seen him say it in an interview), and I guess that Noel, being older, kinda helped him & reassured him back when he really was just a kid, so I think Cam trusts Noel a lot, he's a lot more comfortable with him than with the other actors he had to play having a relationship with (no shade on these actors though, I'm focusing on Cam's pov here), and obviously, they're good friends as well, they've played together for many years. So I think that's why Cam is a lot more excited when he has to play with Noel than with the other actors

How is it possible that Eliott will “graduate” if he’s never in class? Do you think he will have to repeat the year? Do they do that in France? Make you repeat a year if you fail?

At the end of high-school we have that big exam called baccalauréat (though we just call it bac, that's what you hear in the show). You don't have to repeat a year if you failed it, it's just that you won't be able to continue your studies, you'll have to search for a low-skilled job. Most people who fail it repeat a year and try to have it, but there's no obligation.

Also you don't need to go to classes to be able to pass it. You don't even need to be in high-school to pass it (we call them free candidates). But obviously if you don't have the knowledge required you won't have it, that's why we go to class, and it's designed for students who have studied in high-school, as the exercises are standardized and we just study them all year long.

In the case of Eliott, he didn't go to his exam last year so it's automatic failure, so he repeated a year to have it (I guess he wants to continue to study after high-school, probably in arts?). But the fact that he missed most of his classes lately doesn't mean he won't be able to graduate. If he studies well and pass his exam and succeed, it's all good. And even if he failed again or didn't go again, he is in under no obligation to repeat a year yet again. He can choose to stop studying and start looking for a job instead. I don't know if they'll say whether he succeeded or not (and let's remember the fact that the school year ends at the end of season 4, so it's not over yet)
