the thing about spn 3x02 "The Kids are Alright" is that the "creepy" kid basically acts like my daughter.

actually you know what this might be the most accurate depiction of parenting ever shown on television. yes the children are feeding off of me and sapping my blood energy and time and acting weird. of course they're banging on the door of the bathroom begging to be let in in the creepiest manner. there is always another demand. you are never alone.
unfortunately, this is just the way ~parenting~ is.
you are in a battle to the death and your job is to last as long as you can deploying boundaries and parental maturity. but they will eventually win.
