I think in season sixteen, after destiel have gotten fully together and said their mutual confessions and what have you, that it'd be really funny if theyre both sitting at the bunker library table, dean is engulfed in his phone or computer, and cas wants attention so he says "I love you" (and the shot mirrors the one from 15x18 but much warmer and happier) and dean doesnt hear him and he looks up and says "oh man did you see this [fictional world news article headline] as an homage to the destiel meme thats trended on and off the past five years
