Season 16 is so POSSIBLE that it infuriates me. They’ve written Death himself getting ganked. Invented cures for almost every supernatural affliction you could imagine. God is dead and destiel’s lovechild (Jack) is powerful enough to fart out an entire galaxy. And you’re telling me they can’t find another way to unkill Dean Winchester and the gay angel one. more. time.
Listen, we can all agree that if & when there's a Supernatural revival, Andrew Dabb isn't allowed within ten feet of it... right? Like, We can all agree on that???
I'm only gonna say it once, if there ever is a Supernatural reboot and it doesn't retcon the finale as a false heaven, Empty torture, or djinn dream etc AND it doesn't have Cas and Dean explicitly in love
I DON'T WANT IT.
A) heaven being the only possible happiness for a mentally ill character was and will ALWAYS be a dangerous message to viewers. And it was garbage writing in general.
B) The biggest thing keeping the fandom alive is the queer community, is destiel, and it could have been something beautiful and powerful instead of devastating. They have a chance to still make it into a strong message against hate and bigotry. I hope they're actually brave enough to. I hope they all realize it's not sexualizing their relationship, it's further romanticizing what's already been written with romantic tropes the whole time. We're not crazy. It's text.
